Along the way, you will also experience Los Angeles through one of its most powerful connectors: food, exploring how culture, nourishment, and opportunity intersect through shared meals and conversations. Through these experiences and reflections with your fellow incoming students, you will begin to understand the complexity of the city you now call home, and by the time orientation begins, feel more connected to LMU and inspired by the vibrant, dynamic community that will shape your college experience.

Career & Professional Development invites you to start your LMU journey by exploring Los Angeles as your classroom. In this two-day pre-orientation experience, you’ll visit leading organizations, connect with professionals and alumni, and discover career paths in industries like entertainment and sports, building confidence for your college-to-career journey.
