International Student Orientation

St. Robert’s Auditorium
Learn about the support LMU provides for international students as well as important details about visa requirements and maintaining your student status. Lunch will be provided. This session is mandatory for all international students.
LMU Basketball Game Meet-up
7:45 p.m.
Meet at Iggy’s Cafe off the McKay Hall Patio
Gather with other new students to head to the basketball game as a group. Orientation Leaders will guide you to your destination.
LMU vs. USF College Basketball Game
8:00–9:30 p.m.
Gersten Pavilion
Join the LMU Pride and cheer on the men's basketball team in this anticipated match-up as LMU faces off against USF. Admission to the student section in Gersten Pavilion is free of charge for new students with a valid OneCard.

Thriving in the Pride: First Semester Success Planning

Receive an introduction to your robust support network at LMU and engage opportunities for active goal setting and reflection around your first few weeks on campus.
Resource Fair & Coffee Break

Stop by the LMU Bookstore during this time for 10% off select purchases for new students and their families.
Saturday, January 11
Playa Vista City Hike
10:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m.
Meet at Lawton Plaza
Hike down the bluff to browse the Playa Vista Farmer’s Market, a favorite stop for locals on Saturdays, where you can stock up on fresh produce, support local artisans, or sample culinary creations from a variety of vendors. Then, explore the Runway Plaza, featuring restaurants, boutiques, and entertainment offerings—just a short distance from campus.
LMU Game Night

Gather with other Lions for a game night with pizza and snacks! Come play board games—like LMU Monopoly—video games, and billiards.
